The Awareness Programme

This is the flagship programme at Eastleighwood which seeks to create awareness on social issues and transform youth, building insight and raising awareness on the dangers of HIV-AIDS, Reproductive Health, Drug and substance abuse, Furthering concept of human rights among the community, Democracy and constitutionalism , advocating for change and ending youth marginalisation

In keeping with these objectives, eastleighwood reaches out to the community through events, workshops, publications, emails, films, talks and presentations. These activities are focused on creating access to possibilities for engagement.

Motivational programes for high school students

Eastleighwood conducts talks in high schools around Nairobi and engages students through leadership development programes and invites prominent members of the society to address the students.

Audio visual films

Eastleighwood engages in acting short movies and plays that are designed to carry out messages to the youth and the public in general. These short movies deal with themes that range from the power of self determination, the role of youth in peace-building, constitutionalism and good governace, role of democracy in modern day, effects of human trafficking, drug and substance abuse, HIV-AIDS.
